36 Volt Automotive Battery: Development of a New Battery – 36Volt Sealed Lead-Acid Battery (Valve Regulated Battery) – Jointly developed by Japan Storage Battery Co. and Toyota Motor Corporation for Mild Hybrid Vehicle.



GS Battery has a host of new technologies for portable communication and telecom-related applications:

Super Long-Life Valve Regulated Lead Acid Batteries: GS Battery's new line of sealed lead-acid batteries with an 10-13 year life are specifically designed to address the telecommunications back-up power market. These 12-volt models range in capacity from 0.7 - 65 ampere hours and reduce maintenance and service costs through their long-life performance.

High-rate Discharge Lead Acid Batteries: GS Battery has some new high-rate discharge batteries specifically for uninterrupted power supply applications. These batteries have such impressive qualities as extremely efficient discharging from 10 minutes to 1 hour, a 20% higher output and 17% increase in capacity (at a 1 hour rate)when compared to the PE series. Super Thin Lithium-Ion Prismatic Batteries: These new laminate prismatics are an astounding 4 millimeters and have the highest volumetric energy density in the world. Designed for lightweight, portable communication and computing devices, they give mechanical engineers a new freedom in design.
